velvet-leap provides travel planning and booking services, acting as an agent between you and various travel suppliers including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other service providers. We facilitate bookings but are not the direct provider of travel services unless explicitly stated.

Booking Terms

When making a booking through velvet-leap:

• You confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete
• You accept responsibility for ensuring all travellers have valid travel documents
• You agree to the specific terms and conditions of the travel suppliers involved
• You acknowledge that prices are subject to change until full payment is received
• You accept that final travel documents will be issued upon complete payment

Payment Terms

Payment requirements vary by booking type and supplier:

• Deposits are typically required at time of booking confirmation
• Balance payments are due as specified in your booking confirmation
• Late payments may result in booking cancellation without refund of deposit
• All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies are determined by individual travel suppliers. Generally:

• Cancellations must be made in writing to our office
• Cancellation charges may apply depending on timing and supplier terms
• Refunds are subject to supplier policies and may take several weeks to process
• Planning fees are non-refundable once consultation services have been provided

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all bookings. Travel insurance is not included in our services unless explicitly added to your booking. You are responsible for ensuring adequate coverage for your trip.

Passport and Visa Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring all travellers possess valid passports and any required visas. While we may provide guidance, responsibility for meeting entry requirements rests with you. We accept no liability for denied boarding or entry due to documentation issues.

Liability Limitations

velvet-leap acts as an agent for travel suppliers. Our liability is limited to:

• Errors in bookings caused directly by our negligence
• The value of the affected booking component

We are not liable for:

• Acts or omissions of travel suppliers
• Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
• Losses not directly caused by our breach of these terms
• Indirect or consequential losses

Financial Protection

Package holidays booked through velvet-leap are ATOL protected. We are a member of ABTA, providing additional financial protection and access to dispute resolution services.

Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Transmit malicious software or code
• Copy or reproduce content without permission
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the website

Intellectual Property

Governing Law
